CY O'CONNOR RESERVE

Public BBQ

This beach is a haven for dog-lovers, with a vibrant atmosphere and ample space for dogs to frolic. It's equipped with easy access points, two sizeable car parks, a covered picnic spot, and a kids' playground. The beach is also home to intriguing sights, like a boat wreck, historical ruins, and a statue in the water, making it an engaging place for visitors. The waters are clear and calm, perfect for a swim and, at the end of the groin, there's a popular fishing spot. Alongside the sandy beach, there's a large grassed area with a playground, toilets, and showers. The beach is complemented by a picnic spot behind the dunes, equipped with a toilet and shower area. Despite its popularity, particularly during summer holidays, parking is generally ample. The spot is also known for its stunning sunsets and quiet atmosphere, providing a serene respite from city life.
